The Postcard on the Rapti River by Sasvata Wildlife Resort is a tribute to coexistence, a boutique nature-based tourism masterpiece designed to draw global attention to Nepal's extraordinary biodiversity and wildlife heritage.
For Director Savanna Vaidya Basnyat, the project began with a simple belief: that meaningful encounters with nature have the power to restore perspective, inspire stewardship, and remind us of our place within a larger living ecosystem.
Situated across ten bighas of riverfront land adjoining the Rapti River and the buffer zone of Chitwan National Park, the resort is more than a place to stay. It is a platform for conservation storytelling, immersive travel, and meaningful engagement with nature.
In December 2023, Sasvata partnered with The Postcard Hotel, one of South Asia's leading boutique luxury hospitality brands. Scheduled to open on 13 October 2026, the resort will feature 22 thoughtfully designed keys and a collection of holistic, immersive experiences inspired by the natural and cultural richness of Nepal.
