Overview
Ather Energy is an advanced electric scooter brand from India, known for its connected mobility technology, smart features, and performance-oriented design. In Nepal, Ather was officially introduced in November 2023 under the VOITH Organization group through its EV and mobility division, Vaidya Energy.
In October 2024 the brand opened its first experience center in Kathmandu, marking its official entry into Nepal's electric-mobility market. Vaidya Energy serves as the authorised distributor, overseeing sales, distribution, service management, charging infrastructure, and after-sales support nationwide.
The Ather 450S, 450X, and Rizta form the core lineup, connected, performance-oriented scooters backed by the Ather Grid charging network and a growing service footprint from Tinkune to Birtamod.
